We were awarded a research grant from UCL – University College London – to research and develop an idea for a public art installation for the new UCL East campus in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in east London, which is part of the East Bank regeneration project – London’s new cultural quarter with parts still under construction.
Researching ideas and speaking to a whole host of UCL academics, from digital anthropologists to urban development specialists, we spent 2023 developing concepts and ideas involving bringing together the world famous UCL Bloomsbury campus and the brand new UCL East campus.
2024 UPDATE: the opening was ultimately moved and plans for a public art installation changed.
