Back in 2008 Paramount Pictures asked Addictive TV to remix the first Iron Man movie, to create an alternative trailer that could reach websites and blogs that traditional film trailers can’t reach. A high profile example of this was the home page of Wired Magazine, where the editor said “It wasn’t an easy decision to post this video, because it’s basically a straight-up advertisement for the Iron Man movie. Ultimately, I decided it was worthwhile because I haven’t seen this sort of thing done much before” – we found this archived page on the Wired site.
