The French word ‘contenus’ means ‘contained’ but also means ‘content’ (as in creating content) and the Ososphere arts festival in France asked us to create a video installation on the subject of shipping containers, as the festival is held in the port area of Strasbourg.

The shoot took place in late November 2011 at France’s second largest port, with much of the filming happening high up from 100 metre cranes using Canon 5D cameras with tilt-shift lenses, creating the ‘miniture’ effect making things look like toys. This is a short re-edit of the original eight minute silent installation.
