We've been working with animation studio 12foot6 on their project Get Well Soon. It's a series of gloriously injurious animated shorts which we're musically (and visually) stitching together to become one whole peice.
‘The Eye of the Pilot’ (Dans l'Oeil du Pilote), was a live cinema performance project taking the form of an aerial travelogue, remixing the incredible 8mm colour archive of a French airline pilot.
Cineworld: UK's first 4DX cinema
It's now in many parts of the world, but January 2015 saw the launch of the UK's first 4DX cinema - the multi-sensory movie experience - where as well as sound and vision, smells and mist or water are pumped and sprayed into the auditorium, and even the seats all move like a simulator!
Cineworld in Milton Keynes become the first and Addictive TV were asked to perform at the launch event and to sample and remix forthcoming movies to be shown in 4DX, including Fast & Furious 7, Colin Firth's first actioner Kingsman: The Secret Service, Ron Howard's Moby Dick epic Heart of the Sea and Jupiter Ascending from Matrix directors The Wachowskis.
The video below is a very short online version, as the original was nearly ten minutes in length, more detailed and designed specifically for a large wrap-around LED screen, containing 36 side by side images as you can see in the background of the photo above. To read more about 4DX, read here.
